You can control who can see and take action on your Opportunities through IAND's privacy features. These help you control visibility of information that is sensitive from a commercial or security perspective.
Privacy features are available at the Portfolio level and within individual Opportunities.
Controlling visibility and access to all Opportunities
You can set your portfolio so all Opportunities are 'private' by default. This means that only Level A users and Opportunity team members have access to the full details on the Opportunity:
- Level A users have access to the full Opportunities Index and details pages on all Opportunities
- Level B users have access to the full Opportunities Index and the details pages on Opportunities where they are on the team
- Level C & D users only have access to "My Opportunities" on the Opportunities Index (i.e. the Opportunities where they are part of the team).
Ask your Super User to understand more about the setup of your portfolio.
Note: Private Opportunities have a padlock icon next to them to show they are private.

Controlling visibility and access to an Opportunity
Individual Opportunities can be made private when creating a new Opportunity or once the Opportunity is in draft, live or closed states.
Marking an Opportunity as Private when creating a new Opportunity
To mark an Opportunity as Private, simply click on the check box when creating a new Opportunity. This will mean only Level A users will be able to view the details page.
You will be added to the Team for the Opportunity automatically and can add additional members of the Team to the Opportunity from the details page. Once added to the Team, Level B-D users will be able to view the Opportunity on their Opportunities Index and click through to view the details.
Marking an Opportunity as Private once draft, live or closed
To mark an Opportunity as private, click into the Opportunity from the Opportunities Index to visit the details page and click 'Change to private' under the Management section.
Marking an Opportunity as Open once draft, live or closed
To mark an Opportunity as Open, click into the Opportunity from the Opportunities Index to visit the details page and click 'Change to open' under the Management section.
