Find out how to request and upload compliance information for each supplier in your supply chain.
How to create Compliance requests
There are two ways to initiate a request for compliance information from a supplier. You can either make a request for your supplier to provide you with information, or you can upload a document for your supplier to review (e.g. your Code of Conduct). Both of these are actioned from the Compliance documents module in the Governance section on each supplier's Company Profile page.
To request a document
You can request standard documents from your supplier using Compliance presets (once your super user has set up your portfolio presets). You can also request a Custom document from any supplier.
To request a compliance document:
- Go to a supplier's Company Profile page.

Scroll down to the Governance section, expand the Compliance documents module and click 'Request document'.

From the dropdown, you will see the list of preset document requests that are set up on your portfolio. If a preset has already been requested from that supplier, it will be greyed out in the dropdown.
- You may either:
- Select the preset you want to request. The form will pre-populate, but you can edit the Reviewer or the deadline if you need to.
- Request a custom document instead, by clicking the button at the top right of the details page.
- Once you are happy with the details of your request, click 'Submit' to generate the request and notify your supplier.
Important! Complete the form once for each document you would like to request. This enables you to approve and track expiry of each item separately.
Once submitted:
- Your supplier will receive an email that requests your specified documents.

Your supplier will log in to IAND and upload the documents.

You will be notified via email as soon as there are items ready to review.

You will be able to Approve or Reject the items.

The Compliance documents module on the company page will reflect your decision.
To upload a document
- Go to a supplier's Company Profile page.

Scroll down to the Governance section, expand the Compliance documents module and click 'Upload document'.
- Complete the form. Remember to write clear instructions and to add the files you want your supplier to review and agree to. You can add multiple files.
Once submitted:

Your supplier will receive an email to review the documents.

Your supplier will log in to IAND and mark the documents as ‘Approved'.

You will be notified via email as soon as your supplier has approved the documents.

The Compliance documents module on the Company Profile page will now show an ‘Approved’ status for these documents.
